I have had a lot of time on my hands during my break, avoiding studying. I turn to the tried-and-true methods of obsessively checking my email, Facebook, and e-stalking. The fruits of my labor have not gone unnoticed and I am happy to report I have discovered a quirky pop singer from Australia called, Sia. Enjoy.

The Magic 8 Ball is...well...magic.
I have become a fan of internet 'celebrity' David Thorne. He has a website devoted to emails of sarcasm launched on unsuspecting humorless individuals. One of my favorites is the the Magic 8 Ball...
Read it and see for yourself.
The Connection Between Asians and Karaoke....
So, I stumbled upon this video:
I think it demonstrates why I find karaoke repulsive and further solidifies a cultural stereotype. Mind those "r's!"

Now What?!
I am home for the holidays after completing my first semester at school! After getting back on Friday, Luke and I took off for Missouri for the annual Block Christmas party. It managed to make an ass of myself and had a bit too much to drink but was assured I would be reminded of this for years to come! Now I sit in bed, blogging this with Rolly's head resting on my shoulder and Reg laying by my feet. I am kinda bummed to have learned that my sister is expecting 10-20 inches of snow the day we were planning on driving up to stay with them. I hope that we can beat the snow and get up there to spend some time with them.
That's it for now!

Why I love Lady Gaga...
I just adore her song Speechless and her live show on the AMA's. Thanks Lance for making me watch yet another Youtube video!!!
Defying Gravity
So, I am a huge fan of musicals and never did get to see Wicked in the theater. I was bored the other night and was watching clips of Glee and this song, Defying Gravity was in a clip. I liked the song and did a little research and discovered the song was from the musical, Wicked. I LOVE the song and the singer Idina Menzel who performed in the musical and sang this song. P.S. The guy in Glee who sings this song is AMAZING...nice falsetto. Enjoy:)
Calling Santa
So, my nephew, Brayden, called Santa. My sister sent me the link and I downloaded his phone call. What he's requesting is some sort of Transformer. The site is: www.telsanta.com. Adorable!
To listen to the call:
http://www.fileden.com/files/2009/12/13/2687502/Brayden
It's a .wav file and should work on media player.

Rolly
How can you not fall in love with this face?! This is my St. Bernard, Rolly. I love animals and I wouldn't know what to do without my boys. I rescued Rolly last year and that has proven to be somewhat of a challenge. For some reason, he has become aggressive with other dogs and it makes me sad because he is such a sweet boy. I was able to harness him up a couple of weeks ago to my 5 year old nephew's wagon and he pulled Brayden to the park! It was CUTE! More on the dogs later.

First Step in Cyber-addiction
Hello fellow bloggers, cyber-addicts and Facebook junkies. I decided that I was jealous of my friend, B-lo's blog and alas, I am now a follower;)
I wanted to start a blog to chronicle my adventures in school and deep thoughts that I may or may not come across when I am listening to audiobooks on my Ipod while trying to sleep.
Today was an especially uneventful day but it was topped off with my Dad offering a challenge. He wanted to see if he could solve more puzzles on Wheel of Fortune. I like the show, but hate when Pat interviews the contestants....I don't care if you have a cat or what you named your kids, spin the damn wheel. Nevertheless, my Dad and I are in in a dead tie and will play again when there aren't recorded episodes of House or Fringe on his DirectTv.
Until next time.....
